Some of My Treatments
- Neuromuscular Physical Therapy: A different approach to treating discomfort and pain, Neuromuscular Therapy is a Physical Therapy with the objective of correcting and maintaining a healthy balance between the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system. Neuromuscular Therapy assesses and treats pain in the area of soft tissue dysfunction. Neuromuscular Therapy is a specialized approach, focusing on the relationship between the body’s muscles and nervous system. It’s aim is to relieve chronic pain, improve mobility, and enhance muscular function. In doing so, it addresses underlying issues such as muscle imbalances, nerve impingements, and postural issues. NMT provides long-lasting relief and functional improvement, making it an effective solution for people dealing with complex health conditions.

- Movement Therapy – An integral part of my Physical Therapy Method here at Physical Health is specific movement training. The clinic has a dedicated area to retraining movement patterns. Are you someone who suffers from persistent tension and physical pain which have turned even the simplest movements into something you have to manage, guard, push through, or avoid? You may have tried different forms of physical therapy and nothing has worked. You wake up already bracing, even before your feet touch the floor. Your body tightens without your permission. You might feel disconnected from yourself, as though your body isn’t responding the way it should. You may feel exhausted, not just physically but emotionally also. It’s a sign that the real issue lies deeper than muscles, posture, or alignment. Your nervous system is responsible for movement, tension, pain, posture and sensation. It has been protecting you. Every stress, injury, habit, belief and emotional experience has shaped how your nervous system organizes your movement and it holds tension. Over time, it learns patterns of bracing, guarding and a sense of disconnect, not because something is wrong with you, but because it’s trying to keep you safe. In re-establishing clear communication with the nervous system , I guide my clients in peeling back the layers of dysfunctional patterns and create a new internal sense of safety and the possibility of pain-free movement. This isn’t about chasing symptoms. This therapeutic approach focuses on changing the way you experience yourself at the deepest level, so you can stop fighting your body and finally regain pain-free movement. This method encourages a gentle approach. Instead of forcing change from the outside, you’ll gently explore movement and re-establish a clearer reconnect with your body and nervous system.
